Each attending ophthalmologist has accreditation to perform private operations at their preferred hospital.
Depending on your surgeon’s hospital agreements, operations can be performed at many different locations in Brisbane such as those listed below.
Note that a surgeon’s hospital agreements will not include all locations.

There is no facility for overnight stay at this day surgery.
Chermside Day Hospital
There is no facility for overnight stay at this day surgery.
Queensland Eye Hospital
There is no facility for overnight stay at this day surgery.
North West Private Hospital
There is no facility for overnight stay at this day surgery.
St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital
Also accommodates eye surgery for private patients and overnight stay is available.
Eye surgery can also take place at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, and Mater Private Hospital for intermediate case patients.
